Note regarding our classes...

With Sakalya Yoga, there are no levels defining ability.

Sakalya Yoga does not differentiate between difficult and easy, or defining levels in classes.  Students are invited to modify their practice based on their current state of body and mind. Classes vary by energetic quality of the practice. In doing so, “beginners” are invited to explore their energetic edges at their own pace and "advanced” practitioners maintain the “beginner’s mind” throughout their practice . A beautiful element of this practice is that first-time and more experienced students are seamlessly included in shared practice. Movements are accessible to most students, and your teacher will offer suggestions and modifications throughout the practice to ensure that all are able to participate. Those with injuries will experience deep levels of healing. Those with limitations will be in a compassionate space to move through them.

Our classes are ever evolving and inclusive.

(Regarding pregnancy, we suggest attending pre/postnatal classes)

Sakalya Unique Yin
Sakalya Unique Yin is an internal journey into a space of presence, allowing and mindfulness.  This class invites practitioners to restore on a deep level, cultivating a sense of surrender and ease, connecting with the more internal or ‘yin’ aspects of our experience.  Through the practice of slow, long-held asana, calming pranayama, gentle kriya and meditation, we target the subtle energy bodies and connective tissue to release physical, energetic and emotional blockages.
Sakalya Yoga

SVA Yoga journeys combine ancient yogic traditional elements with a conscious and mindful attention on proper alignment. Together we grow, evolve and transcend through the combined practices of asana, pranayama, kriya, mudra, mantra, laya/sufi movements, ancient wisdom and meditation.

Sakalya Mudras & Movement

This journey will focus on centering and balancing the mind, body, spirit through the combined practice of slow flows and healing mudra therapy.

Sakalya Flow
This is a journey into Self through asana, vinyasa, kriya, pranayama, free movement, laya/sufi movements, healing mudras, mantra and wisdom. Every class is unique and set to music and a theme, flowing and shifting energy in the body, mind and spirit. Together, we hold space to flow in grace between ease and effort, softness and strength, stillness and movement, compassion and radical aliveness!
Sakalya Pure Prana
This is a powerful journey into the fierce divine feminine and masculine energies that reside in each of us -
Moon, Cool, Feminine
Sun, Heat, Masculine
This class will bring balance to the body and mind through strong asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and kriya (a moving meditation through repetitive movement/breath/mantra). Awaken the strength of the peaceful warrior and master your energy!
Sakalya Serenity
SVA Serenity is a journey into the play of movement and stillness. This slower paced class will instil a sense of ease and grace,  while balancing it with a conscious effort. This practice will create flexibility and strength in the body and mind, and the feelings of a full and joyous practice. This is the time to slow down, breathe, feel, transcend and end conflict in ourselves and in our lives.
